Holy Moly. Where do I even start?
I had read about Pixi Glow Tonic all over the web. It’s hard to find a beauty blogger who hasn’t raved about the product. It has only been available for purchase in the US within the past year. Pixi is based out of London, England, and some Pixi products can be found in Target!
Pixi Glow Tonic is an every day toner that actually does something! I’ve used toners in the past that feel like nothing. With Glow Tonic, I can feel the difference. It actually exfoliates your skin. Yes! A liquid exfoliant. I rarely use any of my scrubs or microdermabrasion treatments now.
The exfoliating ingredient is glycolic acid (5%). It helps to loosen and remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin smoother than before, also reducing wrinkles, dark spots, and fine lines.
So enough of the boring stuff. I can’t rave enough about Glow Tonic. I’ve been using the toner daily, for over a month now. The first time I used it had to be the best. I actually felt like my skin was glowing.
I could feel the glycolic acid loosening the dead skin cells, and as gross as this sounds, I could see the dirt and everything Glow Tonic removed on the cotton pad!
I’ve been using it when I wash my face at night. It has helped improve my skin with acne, evenness, and looking less dull.
The three main ingredients are Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, and Glycolic Acid. So what is glycolic acid? It’s an alpha hydroxyacid (AHA). AHAs help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. It’s a miracle ingredient. The Witch Hazel is used to tone and firm your skin.
Looking on Pixi’s website, you see nothing but rave reviews for Glow Tonic. This made me more excited to try it. I used a promotional offer to get free shipping, and an extra gift with my purchase. The bottle sells at $29. Luckily, Pixi is almost always running a special or discount for Ipsy users!
A $29 price tag is expensive, but worth it. I’ve learned that it doesn’t take much to use each night, making my bottle last longer. After a little more than a month, and sometimes twice a day, I’ve used close to 1/4 the bottle. Glow Tonic is definitely something I plan to repurchase. It’s worth the $29 price tag!
